WeHaveMasks services all 50 states plus PR and you don’t need to be local to where the masks are needed to help. We like to say “if you’ll sew, we’ll ship!” WeHaveMasks is fulfilling masks requests from all over the United State and we currently have mask collection points in California, Louisiana, New York, North Carolina, Utah, and Washington. Donations are critical to our success and are used to cover shipping costs to get your much-needed masks to those in need. We continue to fulfill requests from medical facilities, organizations supporting high risk populations, and essential work teams. We have recently launched our WeHaveMasks for Schools initiative to get masks to students, teachers, and school staff members and also offer a no-sew mask that schools can make on-site. Visit WeHaveMasksforSchools.com for more information.
WeHaveMasks is working with Together on Turtle Island and Sewing for Native Peoples to get masks to tribes where COVID is having a devastating impact. We are prioritizing the need for child and adult sized masks in the Great Plains region which includes 18 tribes. The request totals 60,000 masks. Learn more about how we are helping native people at WeHaveMasks.org/sewingfornativepeoples.

We encourage our mask-makers to pledge their masks to specific requests if they have a preference. If there’s an organization, hospital, or essential work team that means a lot to you, we will do our best to allocate your masks for the request. If you know of an urgent need for masks in your area, have them submit a request for masks and we will pair you to the request. Email support@WeHaveMasks.org to let us know that a local request was submitted that you want your masks to go towards.
If you are on Facebook, please join our group, Mask Makers Collective. This is where we will post about urgent needs, successes, and open up the conversation for everyone to help each other. You can also get on our email list to stay up to date. WeHaveMasks will pay to ship donated masks to the closest collection point or the final destination. When you have 20 or more masks, fill out a label request to ship your masks to a collection point. If you are making masks and want to donate regularly, we can provide labels in advance.

Know of an Urgent Need for Masks
If you need materials, mask kits and sewing tools are available for WeHaveMasks volunteers. Our basic mask kit containing 25 pairs of 9×7” (asult) or 7″x5″ (child) rectangles and 350” of elastic to make 25 masks. Our kits also include a prepaid mailer to return the completed masks to a collection point for distribution. WeHaveMasks has 3D printed bias tape and pleating fork tools to help you save time when sewing masks. We also offer nose strips or nose wire lengths when available.
If you know of an urgent need for masks in your area, please have them fill out a mask request so we can pair you to the request. Pairing a mask maker to a local need saves on shipping and also tightens the connection to our communities which is so needed during this pandemic.
